Getting Started
Everything you need to begin using ZippyCue — from creating your first project to loading a DDR.
Create a New Project#
Click 🆕 Create New Project to start.
This opens the project setup wizard.
Set Project and Base Names#
Enter a descriptive project name and a base name for your app.
Keep the base name short, lowercase, and without spaces — it prefixes all generated output files.
Select Your DDR XML File#
Choose your FileMaker Database Design Report XML file for parsing.
In Claris FileMaker: Tools → Database Design Report
Select all tables and export as XML.
Select Your Save Location#
Choose the folder your project files will be saved into.
ZippyCue requires a dedicated folder to house the project.
The Project is Created#
Once finished, the sidebar fills with navigation options where you can explore every DDR section.

- Relationships
- Accounts
- Custom Functions
Options During Setup#
You can stop project creation at any time.
Options include:
- Open an existing project
- Quit the application
You're never locked into the setup process.
